Journey of a Lifetime

Two summers ago, I embarked on a journey of a lifetime. One that I knew would change the direction of my life forever. I was walking away from everything. I was quitting my job, leaving all my friends, packing up an apartment & selling/donating/giving away most of my things, throwing what was left into an old Ford van & hitting the road. I was taking myself completely out of my comfort zone.

I was going to live in the Grand Tetons of Wyoming for a while. I can't describe how good going West felt. But it just felt right. Like it was where I belonged. Maybe not in the Tetons themselves, but to the West as a whole. Out here, the spaces just seem bigger, the skies bluer, and the mountains so grand. It's truly a magical place indeed.

I knew I was hooked. And that I’d be here for years to come. I’m still on this epic journey. I’ve done so much in just 2.5 years on the road. I’m enjoying trying on different hats. From landscaper for the rich & famous in Jackson Hole to slinging pizza in Tucson, AZ; from crack of dawn shelf stocking grocery stores & outfitting folks for every adventure imaginable in Flagstaff to 16 hour shifts fighting wildfires in Montana, it’s been one hell of a journey.

Below are some of my favorites from that turning point in my life…against the breathtaking backdrop of the Grand Tetons.
